Event Description:

The Chamber's Conversations and Connections: Empowering Women is an engaging and impactful speaker series for professional women that focuses on women in business who wish to build a strong network of women inspiring one another to achieve individual potential, supporting each other in business endeavors and creating a legacy through mentorship.

We are excited to welcome Katie Britt, President & CEO, Business Council of Alabama as our speaker! Ms. Britt is a graduate of the University of Alabama and began her career in Washington, D.C. as Senator Richard Shelby's Deputy Press Secretary, Press Secretary, Deputy Campaign Manager, Communications Director and Chief of Staff. She was selected as President & CEO of the Business Council of Alabama in December 2018 where she works to build a stronger business community.

Ms. Britt will be speaking on her journey to leadership and what women can do to encourage the next generation to pursue leadership.
