We are thrilled to welcome Howell Raines to our store for a program about his newest book, Silent Cavalry: How Union Soldiers from Alabama Helped Sherman Burn Atlanta — and Then Got Written Out of History. Pulitzer Prize-winning Raines is a born journalist and storyteller, and in this book he comes through with a whale of a tale, one that shows how the writers of history do sometimes bend that history to their own biases.
