Read Freely Alabama letter-writing campaign at The NewSouth Bookstore

Come by The NewSouth Bookstore on Friday, March 1 from 4pm to 7pm when we’ll gather with representatives from Read Freely Alabama for a community letter-writing campaign. We have a ninety-day window in which to communicate with our State of Alabama legislators and help them understand our perspective on challenges to our public libraries, challenges which restrict access to books and hamper the work of our excellent public librarians charged with stewarding this most important of our nation’s public institutions. These challenges impact your rights as tax-paying citizens. Let our legislators hear your voice!
