Veterans Day Parade – Road Closures, Event Details & Volunteer Opportunities

Montgomery, AL — The City of Montgomery, in partnership with the Montgomery Military and Veteran Commission, proudly presents the annual Veterans Day Parade on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Court Square Fountain – Dexter Avenue.

This cherished event honors the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces and brings together veterans, active-duty service members, local organizations, schools, and marching bands in a vibrant celebration of patriotism and community.

Road Closures & Event Logistics (Please See Attached Map)

• Road Closures Begin: 6:00 AM
• Parade Start Time: 10:00 AM
• Location: Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104

Food & Refreshments:

• Food trucks will be located in pedestrian areas near Decatur St/Dexter Ave and McDonough St/Dexter Ave.
• Food carts will be available near Court Square.

Parking:

• Ample parking is available, including the parking garages along Monroe St and downtown.
