MONTGOMERY, AL — The City of Montgomery is proud to announce that the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Division II Baseball Tournament is returning to the Capital City for the first time since 1988. The tournament will take place April 23–27, 2025, with early-round matchups held at Historic Paterson Field and the championship game—and if necessary, a deciding game—hosted at Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits.

“This is a great moment for Montgomery’s sports scene,” said Brandon Dean, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Bringing the ACCC Division II Tournament back highlights the city’s growing reputation as a destination for championship events.”

Since its last time hosting the tournament, Paterson Field has undergone a series of improvements, ensuring it is ready to once again serve as a premiere destination for championship baseball. The return of the tournament highlights Montgomery’s growing reputation as a sports hub and reinforces the city’s commitment to supporting collegiate and youth athletics.

The ACCC Division II Tournament brings teams and supporters from across Alabama, most of which are located within easy travel distance to Montgomery—making the city a convenient and welcoming host for this high-level competition.
